Comedy legend Will Ferrell recently proved he has more in common with your f—kboy ex from college than finding Step Brothers to be the pinnacle of comedy, serving as a frat house DJ during a recent tailgate party hosted by USC’s Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity.

Clad in a “How do you do, fellow kids” outfit comprised of a backward USC baseball cap and a black university zip-up, Ferrell hit his alma mater with a set consisting of several classics including “N***s in Paris” by Kanye West and Jay-Z, “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor and The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside.”

While some speculated that Ferrell was doing an IRL reboot of Old School, reviving his iconic character of Frank the Tank, it appears as though the stunt may have been an attempt at family bonding as the actor’s eldest son Magnus, is currently a sophomore at the Southern California school per his LinkedIn.

So take it from Magnus — sometimes it is cool to bring your dad to school … so long as he is an internationally beloved comedian.
